Our church is currently seeking a part-time Worship Leader. The Worship Leader will be responsible for leading the praise and worship band, which includes preparing the song lists for upcoming worship services, putting together PowerPoint slides with lyrics for the congregation to follow, practicing with the band weekly, and ensuring all sound-related equipment is maintained and serviced, as needed. The Worship Leader will also be responsible for, or have a role in, planning and leading special events, such as the Easter Sunrise Service and the Christmas Candlelight Service. We are currently worshiping under both a modern and contemporary style, using the talents of our members who desire to serve God through music; something we wish to continue in the future.
Mt. Pleasant was established in 1858, is a mid-sized church, and is currently seeing approximately 80-100 folks in attendance on any given Sunday. Our mission is to “Love God. Love Others.
