Pleasant Baptist Church was established in 1858. Over the years our church has seen much growth and change, but our mission remains simple:
Love God. Love Others. Make Disciples.
Our prayer is that you will feel at home the moment you walk through our doors. Friendly greeters will welcome you at the entrance, and you’ll quickly find others reaching out to say hello.
What Time Are Services?
- Sunday Morning Bible Study: 9:30 AM
- Worship Service:10:30 AM
Our worship gathering begins at 10:30 a.m. During this time, we sing together, read Scripture together, pray together, and study God’s Word together. Our music is a blend of contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns, providing a meaningful time of praise for all generations. Our preaching is primarily verse-by-verse through books of the Bible, helping us understand God’s Word in its proper context and apply it to our daily lives. The gathering generally concludes around 11:30 a.m.
What Should I Wear?
There’s no dress code at Pleasant Baptist. Some dress casual, others more formal — but most importantly, come as you are.
What About Kids?
We love families and want children to grow in their faith!
- Children’s Bible Study: Every Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
- Children’s Church: For ages 3 years through Third Grade, offered during the 10:30 worship service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.
- Vacation Bible School A fun, week-long summer program filled with Bible teaching, worship, and activities for kids.
